Addy Smith-Reiman
For over 20 years, I have successfully engaged people with projects that celebrate local identity, shared histories and future use. I integrate research, design, civic engagement and long-term stewardship planning for successful projects that activate PLACE. Recently I began an apprenticeship with an herbalist in Portland, ME, Mischa Shuler of Wild Carrot, where I am able to remove all labels of accomplishment, and just enjoy the free flow of ideas and expressions found in our plant friends, practice and rituals. I love to share this with my family, particularly my four-year old son, who’s curiosity is most inspiring.
