Cole Swensen

Cole Swensen is the author of 19 books of poetry, most recently Art in Time (Nightboat Books, 2021). And And And, a faux-logical treatise on poetics, is coming out from Free Poetry in 2022. A former Guggenheim Fellow, she has received the Iowa Poetry Prize, the SF State Poetry Center Book Award, the National Poetry Series, and the PEN USA Award in Literary Translation. She is the co-editor of the Norton anthology American Hybrid and the founding editor of La Presse, which publishes contemporary French poetry translated by English-language poets.
