LeAnn Bjerken

Originally from Minnesota, LeAnn Bjerken is a poet and part-time mermaid performer. She has an MFA in creative writing from Eastern Washington University, and previously worked as a journalist before turning her hand to freelance writing.

Her poetry has appeared in Miracle Magazine, The Pacific Northwest Inlander, and online publications including; Devilfish Review, The Artistic Muse, The Lake, and Fox Adoption Magazine.

When not seeking inspiration, she can be found at home snuggling with her husband Steve and their cat Tikki.
