S. Hollis Mickey
S. Hollis Mickey (she/her) works across and between text, textiles, sound, food, and performance. She lives and makes in Anchorage, Alaska. She recently self-released an ambient, sonified deck of cards, Tarot for Tender Actions (2021). Her most recent audio chapbook, How to Fold a Fitted Sheet was released by Flag Day Recordings in October, 2019. Her work has been published in a variety of journals including Cirque, Alaska Women Speak, Northern Review. In addition to being a practicing artist, she is Chief Learning and Access Officer at the Anchorage Museum where she oversees the Education Department.
